العلوم التطبيقية والبنك العربي يوقعان اتفاقية تعاون لإصدار البطاقة الجامعية الذكية...

وقعت جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة اتفاقية تعاون مع البنك العربي بهدف إصدار البطاقة الجامعية الذكية بدلاً من الهوية الجامعية التقليدية، حيث تتيح هذه البطاقة للطلبة الحصول على العديد من الخدمات المصرفية داخل الحرم الجامعي وخارجه هذا بالإضافة إلى تسهيل دخولهم عبر البوابات الإلكترونية للجامعة. ووقع الاتفاقية عن العلوم التطبيقية الأستاذ الدكتور سميحة جراح – رئيس الجامعة وعن البنك العربي السيد وليد السمهوري - مدير منطقة الأردن.

وتوفر هذه البطاقة الجامعية الذكية العديد من الخدمات والمزايا، حيث يمكن استخدامها لدفع الرسوم الجامعية ودفع قيمة المشتريات لدى نقاط البيع داخل وخارج الحرم الجامعي، وعمليات السحب النقدي وخدمة الإيداع عبر أجهزة الصراف الآلي. هذا بالإضافة إلى إمكانية الاستفادة من الخصومات المميزة عند استخدام البطاقة للتسوق لدى شبكة واسعة من المحلات التجارية المختارة والتي تشمل العديد من القطاعات التي تلبي احتياجات الطلبة.

وفي تعليقها على هذا التعاون، أشارت جراح الى أن توقيع هذه الاتفاقية جاء في إطار تعزيز أوجه التعاون الثنائي بين الطرفين، ولا سيما من خلال وجود فرع للبنك العربي داخل الحرم الجامعي والذي يقدم خدمات مصرفية متكاملة للطلبة وأعضاء الهيئتين التدريسية والإدارية. وأوضحت أن رؤية الجامعة واستراتيجيتها ترتكزان على توسيع مجالات العمل المشترك مع مؤسسات القطاعين العام والخاص بما يسهم في تبادل الخبرات وتعزيز التكامل المؤسسي على المدى الطويل.

بدوره، أعرب السمهوري عن اعتزازه بهذا التعاون مع جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة والذي يجسد حرص البنك على تلبية احتياجات مختلف فئات المجتمع وبالأخص فئة الشباب. وأشار الى أن البنك يواصل جهوده لتقديم خدمات ومنتجات مصرفية متطورة تواكب تطلعات هذه الفئة، وتنسجم مع أسلوب حياتهم المتغير ومتطلباتهم المتجددة.

ويُعد حساب "شباب" من البنك العربي أحد أبرز الحلول المصرفية المصممة خصيصاً لفئة الشباب، حيث يوفر إمكانية فتح الحساب إلكترونياً عبر تطبيق "عربي موبايل"، وإصدار بطاقة فيزا بدون رسوم شهرية، إلى جانب الحصول على نقاط مكافآت ترحيبية، وإعفاءات من بعض العمولات، وخصومات حصرية في مجموعة مختارة من المطاعم والمراكز الترفيهية، إضافة إلى خدمات مصرفية رقمية مجانية ومركز خدمة عملاء مخصص.

Applied Science Private University signed a cooperation agreement with Arab Bank to issue a Smart University Card as a replacement for the traditional university ID. The card enables students to access a wide range of banking services both on and off campus, in addition to facilitating entry through the university’s electronic gates. The agreement was signed on behalf of Applied Science Private University by Professor Dr. Samiha Jarrah, President of the University, and on behalf of Arab Bank by Mr. Walid Al-Samhouri, Jordan Area Manager.

The Smart University Card offers numerous services and benefits, including the ability to pay university fees, make purchases at point-of-sale terminals inside and outside the campus, withdraw cash, and use deposit services through ATMs. In addition, cardholders can benefit from exclusive discounts when using the card for shopping at a wide network of selected retail outlets across various sectors that cater to students’ needs.

Commenting on the collaboration, Dr. Jarrah noted that signing this agreement comes within the framework of strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two parties, particularly through the presence of an Arab Bank branch on campus that provides comprehensive banking services to students and academic and administrative staff. She explained that the University’s vision and strategy are based on expanding areas of joint cooperation with public and private sector institutions in a way that contributes to knowledge exchange and enhances institutional integration over the long term.

For his part, Mr. Al-Samhouri expressed his pride in this cooperation with Applied Science Private University, which reflects the Bank’s commitment to meeting the needs of various segments of society, especially youth. He pointed out that Arab Bank continues its efforts to offer advanced banking services and products that align with the aspirations of young people and keep pace with their evolving lifestyles and needs.

The “Shabab” Account offered by Arab Bank is one of the most prominent banking solutions designed specifically for youth. It allows customers to open an account digitally through the Arabi Mobile application, issue a Visa card with no monthly fees, receive welcome reward points, enjoy exemptions from certain fees, and benefit from exclusive discounts at a selected group of restaurants and entertainment centers, in addition to free digital banking services and a dedicated customer service center.

Arab Bank
